OROQUIETA CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL — Around 1,000 motorcycle riders from the BMW Owners’ Society of Saferiders, Incorporated (BOSS) felt the Misamisnon Hospitality on Day 2 of the 2026 BOSS Ironman Mindanao Cup, marking the first time the endurance ride included the province as an official checkpoint.
The 2026 BOSS Ironman Mindanao Cup converged at the Oroquieta City Plaza. Local officials and residents welcomed the participants with cultural bands, dance performances, as well as local delicacies like lechon and a variety of kakanin, before they continued their journey. Riders from various backgrounds participated in the 36-hour ride.

Oroquieta City Mayor Lemuel Meyrick Acosta shared, “Pagsulod nila sa Misamis Occidental, gwapo daw kuno ang dalan, hinlo, concreto, ug safe ilahang pag drive.”
Within the province, the riders passed through several key tourist and infrastructure landmarks, including the Asenso Misamis Occidental Recreation and Adventure Park (AMORAP), the Asenso Global Gardens (AGG), and the Panguil Bay Bridge.
